I couldn’t have asked for a better coach than John. I definitely recommend anyone who wants to improve on their cycling they will struggle to find anyone better than John.
I started looking for a cycling coach back in 2011 at 38yrs of age and came across John. I just wanted to get back to time trialling as I had some previous experience as a kid.
What stood out for me is that John had been a competitive cyclist with a family and so was understanding of work and family life commitments.
We have had an incredible journey together with many up and downs and through them all John has been of great support.
I never in wildest dreams thought I could get to the level John has helped me reach. I’m now 51yrs of age and still racing and love the sport as much as I did when I was a kid.
John has been able to fit my training schedule around my job as a financial advisor and as a father and husband. Knowing my time is limited I usually train around 6-9hrs a week.
At 5ft 8ins and 63kg I don’t have crazy power and I don’t consider myself to be a talented cyclist. However, I am consistent and with johns’ guidance I manage to amaze myself and produce some good results.
I don’t train to race. I train for the love of the bike and use that love of the sport to enter some races and ride as fast as I can.
