I've cycled on and off
since I was 14 (and am now 50). Have done time
trialling, road racing and mountain biking. My passion for the last
five years has been cyclo spotives
such as Etape du Tour and Gran Fondo
Campagnolo as well as a number of those that are
now happening in the UK.
Quite why I like riding uphill when I haven't exactly got
the physique of a "grimpeur" is a mystery
to me and those who ride with me. I do go downhill fast though!
Signing up with John was because I needed to focus on quality and not
quantity.
