Richard Dunbabin

Triathlete Richard Dunbabin has signed up for one of John's remote coaching packages in order to improve his cycling, which will allow him to be competitive at an International standard for his age group.

Richard is a relative newcomer to sporting competitions, entering his first running race at 40.  He entered the London Marathon and managed in his own words “an acceptable sub 4hour”.

Following coaching advice from a friend who told Richard that with a little effort he could do better, he entered again and managed a sub 3.30. Not content with this, Richard pushed himself even harder and entered again achieving an impressive 3hr15mins!

Having been driven by challenges for that event Richard has recently taken up Triathlons and not being put off by any age barriers he is “determined to beat the best!!”

With some structured training and his dedication to succeed, his rivals better be worried...

Results 2006

On Sunday 22nd October Richard knocked a gigantic 4 minutes off his 10 mile Running PB to record an impressive 65:27 a time that put him 214th out of 18,000. Although John is a cycling coach he knows exactly how to taper for any endurance even so that you are at your optimum peak for race day!
