Age?
40.
When did you start cycling?
I started seriously in 2002. I was a (not very good) club runner before
this and a keen cricketer and tennis player before this.
Best ever result?
1st in the ABC Centreville open 10 in 2005.
PBs?
10 = 21.14 (Sept 06)
25 = 55.19 (May 07)
50 = 2.04.19 (May 07)
Favourite cafe?
Currently the Little Frog in Ramsbottom (about 50 yards from my house). It
doesn't make for a great training ride, but at least it's up hill on the
way back.
Other hobbies/interests?
Playing the guitar, writing and watching Salford City Reds (I must like
suffering).
Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I wrote and published a book about two young Rayner funded British riders
in Belgium and France (it's called More Than a Dream – available on
Amazon!).
What are you aims?
It would be nice to win again. However, with John's help I'm trying to
concentrate on the process of training smarter and let the performances
take care of themselves.
