''Started cycling in 1991 at the young age of 27 lol, started off mtbing And by 1994 was the Yorkshire mtb champion and in 1995 was ranked in top 15 in Britain in expert cat but ran out of funds to do last round of national points. Then decided to mix road racing and t/ting. In 1998 went from 4 to 2nd cat in space of 3 months then took time off racing in 1999/2000 because of work commitments.
