I returned to cycling after a 15 year break in late 2004 (aged 42) and used 2005 to get back into cycling for enjoyment with some racing. Some of my old buddies were cycling again as well and the draw of the challenge became too great and slowly I caught the bug big style again.

With the help of coaching from friends I progressed to achieve a personal goal of the hour for a 25 in 2007.

 I enjoy time trialing and hope to race approx 1mph faster consistently than at present with my target races being 10 & 25 mile TTs (Might also have a go at reducing my 50 time).

 Current PBs
10 = 23.12
25 = 59.09
50 = 2.07.52

I never look for excuses but look at what I can change to improve and progress and hopefully the guidance from John Morgan will help me build on the foundations I have laid in the last couple of years.
