I’ve been cycling for more years than I care to remember.  I love being on my bike so anything goes -  road racing, crits,  time trialling and mountain biking.  I’ve raced for 20 years without a break and loved every minute of it. I managed to get my 1st cat road racing license and 21 minute 10s/57 minute 25s from taking part in club runs and chain gang sessions and I wondered what I would do with some structured training so got a training manual and began to train specifically.  The last 3 years have produced some fairly decent results with current PB’s of

20.15 - 10tt (2007)
53.14 - 25tt (2008)
1.54.23 - 50tt (2008)

2008 wasn’t a good year even with the 25 & 50 PBs, the season has been up and down and I suffered with time off through illness, I spoke to Derek Parkinson who seemed to have been riding a motorbike this season and he recommended John, who I contacted.  I have undergone my initial ramp test and although the figures don't mean a lot I came away full of enthusiasm for the new year after John's pep talk.

So here's to 2009 and hopefully, to quote Derek "John will wave his magic wand and the PB's will come"
